  What is Toastmasters?


From a humble beginning in 1924 at the YMCA in Santa Ana, California, Toastmasters International has grown to become a world leader in helping people become more competent and comfortable in front of an audience. The nonprofit organization now has nearly 352,000 members in more than 16,400 clubs in 141 countries.

  Does Toastmasters have anything to do with religions, political groups or other NPO’s?


We are not affiliated with any other organizations, including political groups, NPO’s or any religions (rest assured).

  What does ‘toastmasters’ mean?


‘Toastmaster’ means someone who makes a toast. Therefore, we aim to become a master of making a ‘Toast’.
