Ibaraki city has a slogan “Ibaraki for Next Generation(次なる茨木)” aiming for International City which consists of different cultures and various people so that people of diversity can enjoy living together in the city. Nowadays the percentage of foreign residents is only 1%, of total population but the ratio would increase gradually in the future.

Ibaraki Toastmasters Club hold regular meetings in Ibaraki city, sharing the slogan of the city. We communicate each other in English as a universal language to serve for the globalization of Ibaraki city As of now, there are Russian, Malaysian and American peoples support the club activities in addition to English-speaking Japanese, providing colorful and international atmosphere to the meeting of our club. We are aiming for a club which values diversity.
