Japan-Taiwan Joint Meeting JUSCPA TMC

We had a joint meeting between JUSCPA Toastmasters Club (Japan), Sunshine Toastmasters Club (Taiwan) and Pacific Toastmasters Club (Taiwan) in Taiwan on Feb. 17, 2017. There were about 20 members joined, 4 members from our club, sharing each role at the meeting.
Sunshine Toastmasters Club has a “Joke session” for icebreaking at the beginning of the meeting. We were admired that all of the members were prepared for jokes, and could make us laugh easily.
Prepared speeches from each club were not only a speech but there was a presentation using laptop, which made the meeting exciting.
There were lots of new ideas for us about how to organize our meeting, such as singing club song before the meeting starts, feedback for pronunciation, etc. We newly organized club learned a lot from veteran club, Sunshine and Pacific, that one of their members has 14 years of experience.
We came to know about the power of Toastmasters Club, which enables us to become friends easily even if it’s our first meeting. We would like to keep in touch with clubs in Taiwan who warmly welcomed us this time.
