Why did you join Toastmasters?
Back in 2012, I was working for a chemical company and wanted to work abroad, but speaking in English and presenting in front of people were really a headache for me.
What changes have you noticed in yourself?
I’ve improved my English skills a lot such as, speaking, listening, speech writing and so on. Because the meeting of my club, only took place in English so I was exposed to an English-speaking environment every 2 weeks. As a result, I was able to get an assignment as an expatriate in Belgium for about 4 and half years starting from 2016.
Who would you recommend Toastmasters to?
Those who would like to be involved overseas in business, or those who are back from overseas and are looking for places to further improve English skills, Toastmasters offer the perfect environment for you to learn and grow further with a lot of fun.
