Division Contest Schedule

Hi fellow Toastmasters! Do you enjoy the contest?

The Humorous Speech Contest of Division D was held on March 12th, and the Division Contest season has begun!

Many people do not actively participate in the Division Contest unless their club members are joining as speakers. However, you can hear high-level speeches from speakers selected from each area.

All contests are held online this year. You can participate in other division contests! The schedule for each Division Contest is as follows. Please check the URL information as it is updated from time to time!

Membership Renewals (Reminder)

The deadline for membership renewal is April 1st (US Mountain Standard Time) for the period between April and September 2022. Your cooperation for swift completion of the process would be highly appreciated.

Please pay extra attention because incompletion of the renewal process will result in the club losing eligibility to participate in the speech contests and may affect the Pathways base camp access.

Club Energizing Program – Use It Effectively

Many of you take multiple roles in the contests, so please be encouraged to check the “Club Energizing Program” criteria and use the program effectively. Please see the February newsletter which introduced some detailed information about effective use of the program.

Prospective Clubs – New!

We now have one club added to the list of prospective community clubs:

It’s Yokohama Bibliobattle Toastmasters Club (licensed use of “Bibliobattle” applied)

Please visit their club meetings if you are interested.

Of the below list of prospective clubs introduced in the January newsletter, I have been informed that “Kashiwa” and “Okinawa” are very close to charter.

Your continuous support in membership building would be highly appreciated.

Club Promotion Support Project

Advertising costs will be paid by the District 76.

We are looking for clubs that want to advertise on Facebook and we will hold an information session on April 9th.

After the information session, you can decide either you would like to try Facebook Advertising.

We will explain the guidelines and also have Q&A in the support group.

Moreover, if there are clubs that are interested in advertising with a different social media other than Facebook, we may provide your club the advertising cost. (Sorry, We cannot help you for the technical support though.)

Therefore, the clubs that prefer media other than Facebook are also welcome to attend the information session on April 9th.
