Announcement from Club Growth Director

Last spurt! Achieve DCP goals!

Club membership shrinks at a membership renewal and grows back as new members join. This natural turnover keeps our club healthy. In District 76, an average of around 15 % of members left their club at a renewal in recent years. This time, the renewal rate in the district as a whole was as good as usual. However, the number of small clubs that has less than 13 members went up again from 43 to 68 (more than 30% of all clubs in our district). Our battle against COVID-19 continues.

In this uphill fight, we, as an individual and a club, need to keep our spirit high by supporting each other and keep holding good meetings. In this April, 120 new members have already joined us. It’s a positive sign. The last two months of the term is so crucial to gain the strength to thrive in the next term. Put out a last spurt everyone! Let’s achieve DCP goals!

Membership Building Program For Clubs

Beat the Clock Program (Dates: May 1 – June 30)

Toastmasters are taught to run meetings on time, finish speeches on time and reach membership goals on time. In that spirit, Beat the Clock is a great motivator for finishing the year on schedule—on time and with record numbers!

Make it your club’s goal to earn the Beat the Clock award and encourage every member to take part. Clubs adding five new, dual or reinstated members with a join date between May 1 and June 30 receive a Beat the Clock ribbon to display on the club’s banner. Qualifying clubs also earn a special discount code for 10% off their next club order
