Twitter Campaign 2nd Period Results!

Arata Doi, Integrated Advertising Manager

Twitter Campaign “Let’s Become a Naka-no-hito (Social media manager)! 2nd Period Results

We have received submissions from many clubs during the 2nd Period (Application: 10/21~11/30, Measurement: 10/21~11/30).
We are pleased to announce the top three contributors.

The following prizes will be awarded to the top three contributors’ clubs (designated clubs at the time of submission).

★Prize: $10.00 Gift Certificate to be used on Toastmasters International’s website.

We will contact them individually for shipping method and timing.

The winners were selected based on the number of impressions per tweet (how many people saw it), not the number of “likes” or “retweets”.

The number of engagements (エンゲージメント総数) increases with the frequency that the posted image or link is clicked. For this reason, the number of engagements of posts with images and links tends to be higher. So we have decided to rank the contributors based on the number of impressions.

Multiple entries by the same person and posts by the digital marketing team are excluded.

Toastmasters Cafe ~ Do you have a meeting that makes you naturally want to invite your friends?

Masayuki Tanaka, Division D Director

Hello, this is Division D Director Tanaka.

I am pleased to introduce the World Café hosted by Division D.

With COVID-19, various activities in the world are being asked to change their styles.

Toastmasters clubs are no exception. There are clubs that have switched to online, clubs that are looking for a hybrid of in-person and online, and clubs that will hold the event at the venue as long as they are allowed to do so. Some clubs may be inactive.

But this is the time to stop and ask the question, “What is a good club? Why not join us to discuss it?

And why not use it as a hint to think about the future of the club?

Three veteran toastmasters (TM Masako Kuroda, TM Takahide Miyawaki, and TM Tomohide Oshima), who have a lot of experience in starting up clubs, will share their own stories, which will be discussed among participants in a World Cafe format to answer the question “What is a good club? and look for insights that will lead to future action.

We look forward to your participation.

We also welcome participants from outside of Division D.
