Two months have passed since the new term in Toastmasters started. Has your club business successfully taken off?

Newsletter from District 76 in this term, “The District 76 Times”, will be issued twice (around 20th and 5th) a month. Volumes issued on the 20th is a full version that contains various topics on District 76, and those issued on the 5th is a short-version that summarizes official announcements from District 76.

The needs of the members to Toastmasters and District 76 have been more and more diversified, and the amount of information to be dealt with has been increased accordingly. In light of this situation, in this term, District 76 has decided to bring the official information for all members together into “The District 76 Times” as much as possible.

I would appreciate it if you make a choice of information in which you are interested, from “The District 76 Times”.

TM Daisuke Kouno, a former President of Nakameguro Yamanote Toastmasters Club and Kazumori Kishimura, a club coach of the club led the club to achieve full score in the Distinguished Club Program recovering from a status of 12 members.

They will share their stories of rebuilding a club and answer the questions from the floor. This on-line seminar aims to give guidance and insights to those who seek to become or invite a club coach.

Evaluation Workshop with a European Champion

We are delighted to invite you to a two-hour online workshop focused on Speech Evaluations. The workshop will be interactive, and you’ll have the opportunity to evaluate two short speeches (One in English and the other in Japanese).

This session will be delivered by John Zimmer, an internationally recognized speaker and expert on public speaking, presentation skills and persuasion.

 

About John:
John won the European District Contest 9 times in total. He has won each of the four main Toastmasters speech contests at least once. He participated in the Evaluation Contest 4 times and won all 4. Three times in English and once in French. You can learn more about John on his website at:
