Every Toastmasters journey starts with a single speech. At the time I had no idea what a profound effect Toastmasters would have upon my career. Toastmasters experience always goes beyond expectation and it provides a stellar outcome.
Once I was able to reliably give the whole talk without looking at my script, I then had to improve engaging with audience. Just barely memorizing it, but my talk would go over my time limit. When I could evaluate with clear suggestions, then I needed to motivate speaker deeper….
Step by step. Level-up. I realized what a big chunk of communication skills remain yet to be discovered, that could take me to the next level in personal and professional life. My heart is beating again, bursting with positive energy. That effort makes me a better manager, collaborator and leader.
